A Voter's Guide to Education Issues

Education Week recently published a voters’ guide to the education issues that are relevant to the 2016 election. It compares major party candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump’s stances on education policy, and highlights important races and ballot measures that may have an effect on education.

Elevate Teachers’ home state, Indiana, has two races that Education Week says are important to watch. First, the gubernatorial race could have a big effect on standardized testing rules in our state. Indiana is also one of five states choosing a new superintendent this year.

Elevate Teachers isn’t endorsing any candidates, but we do believe that it’s important for you to vote! If education is as important to you as it is to us, make sure you know about the education issues at stake in this election.
