According to the UN, “Being an empowered teacher means having access to high-quality training, fair wages, and continuous opportunities for professional development.” They also stressed the importance of being able to choose teaching methods and approaches, and safety and security during times of instability.

At Elevate Teachers, we’re pleased to see teachers celebrated with World Teachers’ Day, and appreciate the United Nations’ message. We hope to see teachers empowered, not only here in the United States, but all over the world.
